Dehradun.. Mussoorie is not far.

We made a plan to go to Mussoorie this weekend, accompanied by a person who had a house in Dehradun. The lady's house was located in a really nice slope. The road had beautiful and colorful bougainvilleas on either side strewned with petals. The place was so inviting. It was very calm, one could just listen to the sounds of birds, the mountains at a distance had a soothing effect to the entire surrounding area where people live.
The city seemed clean and developed like any other city, just that one could also see mountains from there. We had some nice tea, coffee and snacks prepared by a person who has been working in that house for years, like a family member. I liked all of that. Just that I could not spot any litchi tree, don't know where they have gone from here.
