A Perfect Morning

Had a super walk this morning, up from the playing fields across the golf course to the woods.

The sun was shining, The Lark was Ascending (Vaughan Williams) on the eyepod and it is a Bank Holiday. (I guess the tablets are finally working!!)

Even the absurdly high number of golfers out hacking balls out of the rough where I was trying to walk my dog!!! could not disturb my bliss.

It was great in the woods too.

Dappled light and blue bells gave me an opportunity to try out another 99p ebay purchase. This time a Hoya soft spot focus filter. You do have to remember to put your subject right in the middle of the frame, and if you have a labrador who likes sticking her head in bushes, it is advisable to wipe the detritus off of their snouts!
