Take My Breath Away!

In the late 80s, a genius had Peugeot advertise their new model, the 405, with crops of cane bursting in to flame as it passed, quiet harbours safely reached and the background track of Take My Breath Away. It was the start of my love affair ... as soon as promotion let me afford it, I bought the first of a series of 405s, 406s and 407s which let me be a confident, safe and happy driver through years of 50-mile round trips to work and appalling road conditions. Even the 'monday-car' amongst them was beautiful!

But even such a love story can come to an end. Tomorrow I'm leaving the last in the line with Uncle Arnold to drive off in a 3008, better suited to my new life.

Can't believe how emotional I feel!! Ridiculous!
