Subway Sick

Reached RPR airport an hour before and got into queue for security check, after all the luggage was scanned & I was inspected by an officer, He asked for my boarding pass, I showed him my web check-in boarding pass, he said he needs 2 copy of it, Why ? we need 2 copies of web check-in pass or you go to the counter and get another Boarding pass. Collected all my bags & stuff to went back to Ticket counter. Lady printed another boarding pass for me and after sometime I was again in the queue for security check. They announced a final call for all the passengers traveling to HYD, I was still in the queue for security check. Security guard: There are no tags on your bags, where to get tags ? You need to go back to Ticket counter.. I'm not going there again to miss my flight, and picked up some used TAGS on the floor and tied them on two of my bags, he stamped two bag tags and I proceeded towards boarding gate. Another Guard there says there is no tag on my Waist bag,.. damn whats there in the Tag its with me only, you can't go thru until you get a tag on this too.. its craziness.. turned back & picked up one TAG lying on the floor and came back.. he didn't even check the Seal / Date on the tag and let me go: what the #(#@.

Indigo flight # 6E reached Hyderabad airport on-time. After coming out started looking for a Cab till Office. Checked at one counter and they said Rs. 1250/- .. great. Came downstairs and headed to book a cab thru Police Pre-paid booth for 600/-. A mediator offered me the same rate. He said same but it was 20/- more, Not sure why but I said ok, "Jabbar" guided me till his cab and he took charge of wheel till Office. Very nice guy, I liked his attitude so booked him for next morning commutation to US consulate too. He said he lives next to consulate only and would surely come. Told him I need cab around 0630 hrs so that we can reach there on-time.
Reached infosys office at around 12:30. The security (surveillance camera, X-Ray scanning machine, Metal Detector, Police Guards) in this office campus is much more than what is there in any airport or Govt buildings.

Guard: Sir do you have any Camera, Electronic Item, Hard Disk, Laptop, Card Reader
I : have all these in my bag
Guard: Please get all your bags scanned there.
Lady: who was scanning my bag, asked me to open my Camera bag.. Wow, you've got a very nice bag sir.
I: :) thank you.
Guard:You need to deposit your Hard Disk, Card Reader & Laptop @ Gate# 3.
I : am not going to deposit my MAC here.. rest of the stuff you keep with you.
Guard: Sir in that case you please talk to security officer.
I : Sure, where is he ?
Security Officer (Vijay Singh): Sir you can not take your laptop inside.
I : I was not told about this before, I can't leave such costly mac here. I can give you in writing that I'l not use this inside the campus
S. O: No sir we don't have authority to let you take it in.
I : Okie then you give me in written saying if anything happens to this laptop, I'll get full refund.
S. O.: NO sir we can't give you any such letter. believe me nothing happens, there are 100 more laptops here.
I: hmmm you just said that, you've 100 more laptop and you are confident nothing happens, why can't you write the same on a paper and give me, Tomorrow you may not be here to confirm what you said, if I've piece of paper I can show that to anyone.
S. O: No sir we can't give any such letter.
I : In that case I can't leave my MAC here too.. We are in deadlock situation now. Tell me what to do ?
S. O. : Sir you need to talk to CCD head "Rakesh M.K." if he permits then only we can allow you.
I : Ok give me his number I'll talk to him. I dialed Rakesh's # and told him that security is not allowing me to take my MAC in, whereas I remember last time when I came to India they did allow me. I told him that I've called him to get his authorization.
Rakesh: Mr. Krish the policy has changed and we don't allow any personal laptop inside the campus now. I don't have authority to give any such permission.
I : Who has that authority ?
Rakesh: Head HRD "Richard Lobo"
I : Please give me his# I'l talk to him. After getting Richard's # I dialed him twice but he didn't pick up the call. Asked the Security Officer now what ? at the same time poor Jabbar was waiting for me to come out and pay him.. I din't even have cash to pay him I though Once I reach my room, I'll go to the ATM inside office campus and give him the money. I was wasting his time too.. Called my friend Ravi to come along with 620/-.. He came without asking any question. Jabbar left after getting the money.
S. O: Sir without authorization we can't allow you sir.
I : Dialled Rakesh again and told him that I'm ready to give a written assurance that I won't use my MAC but you are not ready to give me the same assurance of safety of my mac in writing. I refuse to deposit it here. What to do now ? If I've to talk to CEO of this company I'll talk but I'm not gonna leave this here.
Rakesh: Mr. Krish you are not understanding I've already burnt my hands once, I can't really allow it.
I : Lets do this, I'll leave it only in one condition that You'll keep it safe in your own Cabin. I'm not going to leave it here @ Security gate.
Rakesh: accepted it.. finally
I : could sell it :D

Reached my room. I had to handover some stuff to few folks, had to collect all documents for tomorrows interview. On my way back to room grabbed a spicy SUB from SUBWAY. Had plans to meet old friends in the evening. Finished my SUB and went to meet Visa desk folks because I realize a whole bunch of documents are missing, Yes whole supporting pages were not given to me before. Came back to room and realized I'm starting to feel stomach ache. laid down on bed and it started getting worse slowly, by evening I was having severe stomach ache and I also started feeling temperature. Damn I've interview early morning I SHOULDN'T fall sick. When I feel sick I stop any food intake and increase the supply of Water. Pain was unbearable by 18:00. Called up front desk asking if they've anything for stomach ache (Electrol / Eno). Couldn't even talk to them properly and hanged the phone, within few mins someone knocked the door. Karthik from facilities team was there at door saying sir, we'll call ambulance and get you admitted in Apollo Hospital, NO man I've an interview tomorrow early morning I can't get admitted. Please arrange for a pack of Eno, he said He'll send that soon and also a Crocin (just in case). An Eno pouch helped a lot but still till 23:30 I was in great pain. Switched OFF the fan and after having 2 bottles of water slept under the Blanket.
