'Jump On Board'

This is 'Phyllobius pomaceus' or Green Nettle Weevil. Well in actual fact there are two here (one is on the other side of Joe's finger) held together at the rear end by 'something'!!

We came across a patch of nettles that was covered in them at the allotment.

For the benefit of younger readers - the patch was covered in weevils who were playing 'statue leap frog'. Sometimes they were in 3's or 4's playing all together.
How sweet.
