The Day After

After a very relaxing morning watching the wren, robin, blackbird, sparrows, and various insects in the sunny garden, I headed into London with Fred for a walk around the Mall and Piccadilly. As you can see, the Mall still held a fascination for many people and it was very crowded.

We met up with Mike, Lindz and Si for pizza then headed to see the UK film premiere of Pig screened as part of the Sci-Fi Film Festival. The film was entertaining and the Q and A with the director at the end brought a few things to light and I'd like to see the film again. However, they need to find some way of getting a general release. Good luck to them!

I don't wish to give anything away, but scientists are currently working with such deliberate memory-loss techniques (one such scientist was a consultant on the film). It's possibly not so much science fiction as science fact. Gah!
