Bright and Breezy

It was a beautifully bright day for our walk out to Hilbre. Also, very windy! But we found a lovely grassy sheltered spot for the picnic and then pushed against the wind back to Kirby. Fortunately it wasn't a cold wind.
We restored our energy levels with ice-creams at Parkgate, then home for drinks and home-cooked supper.
Such a delightful, sociable day. How lucky we are!
