Christening Day

May Day was most excellent this year! We celebrated the Christening of our beautiful niece and newly appointed Goddaughter, Amber, in the morning and then chillaxed at home in the afternoon. (Not quite the original plan but given the gorgeous sunshine, one that we were more than happy to go with). Amber's Christening was a real family affair - it was only immediate family and in a tiny church (we quadrupled the congregation) but it was very moving and wonderful to be a part of. We are very proud to have been asked to be her Godparents as she has always been a very special part of our extended family since the excitement of her arrival nearly four years ago! Yesterday was a very strong reminder of how fortunate we are to have our family round us and how fortunate we are to have the families that we have!
