The Culprit
The last few days I've been experiencing problems with the picture on the TV. The sudden spurt of spring growth has meant that some branches on trees near to my satellite dish have been swaying in the wind and breaking up my picture. It's been getting progressively worse as the weather has turned windier. Dr Who was relatively problem free, but Desperate Housewives was badly affected, 6 Music was unlistenable today and there was a danger that I would be unable to watch a new series of Canal Walks With Julia Bradbury.
Can't have that!
Today I have been out with my loppers and tree-saw cutting off a number of branches I thought might be between the dish and the satellite and causing the problem. Nothing had any effect until I attacked this one, with just minutes to spare before Julia explored the Caledonian.
Thankfully, it did the trick. Tomorrow a trip to the recycling centre with my trailer will be called for.
