Through the boat house .....

Another glimpse of the High Pond taken when the sun was going down behind the hills. The pond was tranquil and I liked being able to see the reflection of the trees in it through the old boathouse.

As usual, one Canada goose was in the water while the other was in its usual place on an island; there were also several pairs of mallards and a moorhen on the water. I could hear the dabchicks, but not see them. There were 3 or 4 swallows swooping around. I was on my own and it was wonderfully peaceful.
