A quick blip tonight as we are off to Will's game and Sam's practice. This is pretty much our everyday right now. My husband bought this glove 2nd hand because Gary Carter was the catcher on his favorite team the New York Met's. They won the world series in 86' and we were 11 then. I still remember the team sitting on the pitchers mound drinking champage and celebrating. We also have a very large picture of him hanging in the garage as well (yes, he tried to hang it over the fireplace when we first moved into our house and it stayed there untill I found something to replace it. He had to have this glove, he came home excited like a 10 year old little boy. The Mets were my favorite team too so I guess we were meant to be......
