Hydrangea for Maggie D.

Spent part of this day in the company of four women whom I have known since pre-school. We meet every 12 weeks or so for a pot-luck brunch and catch-up on each others doings and remind each other of fading memories from our days of careless abandon as children.

I experimented with a baked fruit salad (quite excellent) to accompany waffles, bacon, and savoury scones washed down with pear cider (homemade) and plunger coffee. The pear cider was delicious and when I receive a promised copy of the method I am going to make our own. Baked fruit salad was a hit too.
