Sparkly flower
I do love these little wild flowers. They seem to sparkle in the sun!
No selective colour on this shot, this is just how it came out with the shaded area looking almost entirely monochrome!
I'm also having an interesting time with the camera... I usually use it on P, almost always set ISO to 200, and more often than not it's ideal for the shots I take. However, on P everything is now over-exposed, and I'm also having issues focusing correctly (though perhaps that's down to needing new specs - see below!)... The most frustrating thing is that it was all set up perfectly, exactly as I like it, and now something's changed and I'm not sure exactly what and therefore what to set back again! As a result I'm resigned to using the pre-sets, and in today's case I needed it on sport as it's so windy out that was the only way I was going to grab a shot whilst I had a very brief opportunity to do so, but of course being a Nikon it's kindly been rather too safe with the ISO, and now the shot's a bit too noisy for my liking!
Have had such a busy few days I've not had time to get the camera out, let alone blip, but I'm hoping I've got a few shots I can upload to fill the gaps!
Busy day again today, but nice to return to normality. Got my new glasses ordered (7-10 days? I remember when you used to be able to collect them within an hour!), and also already walked nearly 8km. (I'm trying to get into proper training for the Race for Life this year. I ran it a few years ago and I will do so again this year. Been following Bupa's 5k training plan, though not strictly in that some days I use the cross trainer instead but make sure the intensity level is set higher to compensate. Over 10k on it yesterday but my knees weren't too grateful. A downside of hypermobility syndrome! *sigh*).
Have also now seen sleep consultant about the suspected sleep apnoea but not really got any further. Got to have a more in-depth sleep study done, but on another waiting list for that (approx. 4 weeks) and will then be on a further waiting list (minimum 2 weeks) to see the consultant again! In the meantime her suggestion was to try to get more sleep......!
Hope to catch up with all your journals by the end of this week - feel like I've missed loads but hopefully I've not missed any blip milestones?!
