beech leaves

These are new leaves on the hedge at the front of the house; everywhere is so greeeeeeeen right now.

Really productive day - booked the various insurances (a ridiculous number!) required to take our car, trailer tent and selves to Spain on the ferry, and had the nasty damage to the car re-sprayed. The damage in question was self-inflicted - I left the roof rack on for far too long and the grit beneath the feet scraped the paint down to the primer. Anyway the man from Chipsaway did a great job and it looks good as new.

I've been listening to Fleetwood Mac (the proper FM, not the eighties MOR nonsense) the past couple of days and just found this fairly recent video of Peter Green. He's the quiet one in the soft hat with the blue strat:
