Mariposa Ojo de Buho

This morning we went out to Don Felipe's farm to map out a potential bird-watching trail for tourists. In addition to a pair of bronze-winged parrots, a grey hawk, and a little green snake, we saw this huge butterfly.

We also sucked the juice of a grapefruit and enjoyed several bananas right off the branches. These fruits are millions of times tastier than those we buy in supermarkets in the States.
