Up and away!

This morning, after breakfast and the last bit of packing, we drove to The Efteling. A traffic jam near Utrecht, due to a truck (lorry) that broke down, was the only slight problem we had on our trip. We arrived at the Efteling one hour before check-in; not bad.

The girls had some fun in the playground near the hotel bar, then it was time to check in and get to our hotel room. Not just any room: the King's Suite. The girls were crowned in the hotel lobby and then we were ready to enter our room. The girls love the room so much they didn't even want to go into the park!

Once we managed to convince them to go into the theme park, there was lots more fun. Sure enough, the girls didn't want to return to the hotel room :-)

I had plans to take a night shot of the hotel; it's all lit and looks quite good in the dark. Truth is I'm too tired right now. Maybe tomorrow night... Instead, here is a shot of Ellis jumping off a rock. Don't know what part of the theme park inspired this, but she's quite sure she should be able to fly. And why not?
