Hope

A couple of years ago, I purchased a minature lilac plant from an online place. When it arrived, I had to laugh, it was a stick with a couple of roots on it. So, not much else to do but stick it into the ground and see what happened.

Well, I've been watching and it's still a stick in the ground. But each year it has grown new leaves and this year there might even be a new branch starting. Maybe one year I'll have lilacs :)
