The Infirmary Bridge over the River Ness in Inverness. One of the areas classic, or clichéd, tourist shots (there will undoubtedly be others in the future). Also often taken with the castle in the background.
With very little rain over the past few weeks, the water level is now unusually low for the time of year. Certainly much lower now than a few weeks ago. The wind strength and direction affects the river's level too. We've had NE winds for a while, but when the prevailing SW winds blow strongly up the length of Loch Ness, there can be quite an increase in the amount of water flowing.
