the jewel maker

just lines i think

I had a really dull day today. No inspiration (for life) and little opportunity to take a picture.

Struggling to focus on work so I lay on the floor and looked up at the wall behind where I sit. I saw this pattern on the wall caused by the last of the sun shining through the blinds.

It's not very dramatic and it's hardly a well executed shot, but I'm ok with that coz I realised something about blipping. Inspiration is actually all around us and blipping has made me look for the the first time in years. I mean really look around me.

For half an hour the sun and my window made some shapes on my wall which constantly altered. You would think it would be something very beautiful or profound that would stand out and remind me to take a moment to appreciate life. Instead it was something very very ordinary.
