I knew there was a reason for keeping my son.

This morning he read an article in an old camera magazine (from before me buying the D200) and found that it was possible for me to use the old fixed aperture 500mm mirror lens on the camera AND use the metering system.

So I tried it out this morning (others are Here and Here).

They are not great and the quality is fairly poor as they were taken at 1600 iso to avoid camera shake caused by the freezing wind................3 minutes out of the car and my fingers were numb enough for my wedding ring to slip off my shrunken knuckle (wish my stomach would shrink) without me noticing until I heard it bouncing down the road
