City Night Life

Newcastle's Quayside at 10pm

Arranged for our baby to stay with grandparents then met my husband after work and had some tea and drinks on the Quayside. Then when it got dark we went walking the quayside for our first night time blip.

Wasn't happy with the shots i got (think i need a wide angled lens now haha). Guess they are okay for practice shots.

My battery died on me before I got all the decent snaps I needed so had to make do with this :-(

I was warned when i started here a month ago this would get addictive. I'm seeing things through different eyes and going out blipping at times i'd usually be glued to the sofa. I get to see places at times i wouldn't usually. Take this evening for instance. Newcastle is known for it's party life but i chose to go on a quiet weekday evening and what i found was a beautiful scene with lots of keen photographers hiding in the shadows and looking for the perfect shot of the quayside at night. I felt part of something special hahaha.
