Despite the fabulous weather we had today, I chose to remain indoors, though I was still able to view the wonderous scene through the windows in my room where I spent the majority of my afternoon reading a wonderful little book chosen for me to read by a dear, sweet friend. :) Thankfully I was able to finish it tonight while stll having enough time to take, and eventually upload, this lovely scene of my lawn. Many people view dandelions as common pests, but I find them to be quite beautiful, and they are some of the few flowers I can't kill! Overall, it was not a productive afternoon, but it certainly was a restful and relaxing one that helped to preserve my pleasant mood. Spring is all around us and the feeling of it fills me with joy! That is why I love this picture so! The lawn is speckled with dots of yellow as if little drops of paint dripped from the heavens to produce a unique and awe inspiring scene just for me that I wanted to share with others who may appreciate its beauty and wonder! My only wish is that the picture had more clarity so all could see it as I can, but alas, my skills are lacking so you may only witness this poor rendition of this captivating landscape.
