Back to school.

And not just for Tom and Alice.

Tracey and myself started the Early Bird Plus course. This is a 10 week course run by the National Autistic Society for parents and professionals of people with ASD.

Toms new teacher also joined us. As those of you who know we have had major battles over the last few years with the LEA and the many professionals who have been involved with Tom to try and get him the help he needs.

We have managed to get him an extra 15 hours per week support and whilst this isn't what we set out for it's a lot better than what we were first offered.

The whole point of the course is to hopefully learn something that will enrich Toms life (and ours) as well as getting consistency between the school and home.

It's early days but it looks promising.

All we need now is for someone to offer me a job with a huge salary.
