So this was the sight I was greeted with tonight as my diverted bus approached Charlotte Square in Edinburgh. As you may, or may not know, Shandwick Place in the city centre is being closed for 5 months due to roadworks for the trams. I have to admit that the traffic wasn't that bad (for me anyway).

Another average day at work, although it was made a whole lot better by funsize sweeties that my team won during a work related competition last week. I had forgotten how good jelly tots actually were!
