Well, I was warned by Anth and Trev that the Figgy (i.e. Figgate Park) was addictive.
Having another day off, until the Boss Person signs off on funding the next stage of the project, and the sun having his hat on, I mooched down to the pond again.

Now, I see this as an unfledged member of the Ralidae, brightly coloured to elicit the feeding response in its parents. When I showed the photos to Meles, she said she thought it was amazingly cute.
"Yes, I know it's a coot" I replied...
