Lettuce

A busy day.

I meant to get out with the camera at lunch-time but I was behind with the new reports for the month end and lunch-time vanished.

So we walked to the allotment after our evening meal, to survey the uncharted wilderness of it all.

Here are the lettuce plants that lovely Geoff gave us, caged to keep the pigeons off, but not the slugs.

We walked back the short way but it was still 2 miles there and back.
