Pansies....... or violas?

Lovely colours: but this may have been the last sunny day for a while. Hope not!

The pansy used to be known as the Stepmother Flower, with a story teller picking off bits of the flower as the tale was related about a bad stepmother.

Come to think of it, these might be violas! Anyone know?
