Fang Farriers, Bean Counters and Sunsets

Relative to absolutely nothing and certainly not this photo of which more briefly later...........

A confusing morning with 2 visits (one planned and one not) to the fang farrier and a visit to the bean counter. I've concluded that dentists and accountants have a lot in common. Amazingly both have the same name so when the phone rings it takes a few seconds to work out which one is calling. Both need to get to the root of problems. Both need to drill: one for info (accountant) and well........I'll leave to your imagination for the dentist. Both need to ease the pain (before dental drilling in one case and for tax hit in the other). Both have you captured in the chair while they administer their medicine. Both speak in languages which have the occasional words that you understand like........the, and, there's a problem; need another visit.......and for the rest of the time use techno-speak that whooshes in one ear and out the other (more quickly in the case of the fang farrier as my mind is programmed to receive messages and dismiss them at warp speed in order to get the treatment over quickly). Quite understandably both are prompt billers.

Anyhow...............I survived and am happily here in front of a large whisky.

And so to the photo. It serves as a gentle reminder that whatever happens in a day, whatever scooting about we do; whatever avoidable and unavoidable distractions take place - it is good now and then to just get out and watch the sun set, enjoy natures wonders and unwind a bit.
