Goldfinch and dandelions

Have tried to get a nice image of a goldfinch, never managed it, this isn't great but it's a start!! They are so hard to get near enough to get a reasonable shot.

This one was on the ground eating dandelion seeds which I haven't seen them do before, I have seen them on thistles.

Not so good with the grass etc, but what can you do - you've got to take it as you find it.

Grass was wet too so there's all manner of bright spots!
