Beam me up Scotty

Went for a coffee today at the newly refurbished Burgh Halls in Linlithgow. The halls have been given a total overhaul and are looking great. There's now a nice little coffee shop that will give access to the Rose Gardens (purchased from Historic Scotland). Hopefully they'll replant the Rose Garden as it's a beautiful little spot.

There also an art gallery with fantastic fireplaces pictured here. The tiled fire surround take images from the myths, legends, history and future of Linlithgow. You may not know it but Linlithgow is the future birthplace of Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott from Star Trek. I can't believe they included a tile of the Enterprise along with Mary Queen of Scots - brilliant!
