May morning mashup

My friend Pat came to visit this morning. Here she is, admiring our clothesline back garden. It's been such a glorious day. The birds have been singing madly all day. It's after 8 in the evening now and they're still chirping away, which is nice because the kids have been behaving like hornets from Hades ever since they came home from school. Grrr.

Although the photo looks like a multiple exposure, there was no trickery involved. Straight from camera as always.
