In the park

A fairly chilled out day today, a trip to the park after school which always goes down well with the kids. We have had a new park built on our route home from school, it's amazing, we feel so lucky that it's come at just the right time for our children to enjoy. The hardest part of it, is if we are in a rush after school to get somewhere, there has to be some serious pre-emtpting to this so that no tears occur. But the benefits of having it way out balance a few tears now and again.
Meg's favourite things there are the swings (any of the many types) and the castle, Rowan's favourite place there is the big hill of dusty earth that surrounds the super high swings!
