My offering

I lived this week as a Buddhist monk, I woke at 5 am in the Temple and meditated and chanted with the monks. We then walked around town and accepted offerings of food off EVERYBODY in the village it was an incredible experience. The monks live a simple life, they sleep on the floor, there were lots of Mosquitos that they have to let bite them if they do so wish (all kinds of Killing are forbiddden) and they are not allowed to eat after 12pm.It was difficult believe me!!! This picture is of me offering the monk a new robe at morning chanting. It was such an incredible experience, (even thought we did see a few monks talking on their mobile phones and watching tv!!!!!)
However, I'm never going to forget it.
