The Calm before the Storm

Just thought I would share this lovely bloom with you, I have 4 Peonies in the garden, 3 are this colour - all of which was a cutting from my Mother-In-Law, and I have a pale pink one, which was a cutting from my Grandmother.

We had rain today, and in an earlier comment on a friends blip, I did comment that we always have rain when these come into full bloom, and now I have at least 30 buds in total ready to open, we have had Rain forecast, so by the weekend they could be all washed out, watch the blip.
