Nature's Jewels

Wow! Absolutely thrilled with your response to the creepy statues in the garden and to hit the spotlight is really the icing on the cake. Thank you everyone. I really had been going to put up a shot of a tulip but John convinced me this would be acceptable on Blip. So glad I did as your reponses were really witty and we had a good laugh at your comments. It has been suggested that Ido a macro of them. Will be back there on Sunday so will have a go at a close up version if the light is right. Wonder how they will look in the rain?

So today can't follow it with something equally creepy so going for natural beauty instead. Smirry rain all day so it had to be a shot of plants in the garden in the rain. Really liked the effect of the reflections in the raindrops gathering in the centre and round the hairy edges of the lupin leaves. Tried various angles and close up crops and this is the one I liked best, hope you do too.

Headed to Rothesay tomorrow to meet up with some college friends. Hope to get some different shots there.
