old and new

I walked outside this morning and this was one of the first things I saw; gardenias on a small bush in my yard. Small yes, but still producing a number of lovely sweet smelling blooms. I was immediately taken by how it looked, the fading bloom next to the newer ones. There is something about that still, when I look at it now . . .

I may or may not be here tomorrow before we leave for the 27th annual Cedar Key small boat meet. Of course I will still be taking photographs and will share them when I return. I'll have fun I am sure, but will miss visiting you and your lovely, creative photos.
