Little cloud over Chichester Harbour
The sun today scorched down on us and sent all family members to the beach, harbour and dunescape close by our holiday home.
We'd headed out to go crabbing, but hadn't listened properly to my sister Anne-Marie's instructions and instead wandered over marshland then dunes till we arrived at the end of the boardwalk. Mounting the dunes at the far end, the landscape opened up to the harbour, accessed through a gap in the grasses and we caught our breath as we took in the quite marvellous view, the South Downs National Park emerging into the distance.
Every evening we dined on fantastic meals cooked by my brothers, sisters, mum and dad and tonight Geraldine treated us to a Middle Eastern feast, the aroma of the marinade lingering long.
