Narayani
I'd spent a considerable part of the day clearing my studio of junk and hanging an old canvas backdrop with a view to shooting more portraits. I'm not a portrait photographer but feel it's time to explore that area. A friend, Narayani, had helped clear some of the space the day before so I dropped around to her place, gratefully accepted a glass of red, and chatted about her sitting for a few portraits as she's so good in front of a camera. While there I asked if I could take a picture of her at her house before she moves. We went into the garden where a shed was painted up for a Zombie party held by her son. It was a gift. I simply stood Narayani in the doorway.
