River Kennet
The River Kennet close to Swallowhead Spring and Silbury Hill.
The Kennet is a chalk watercourse, a tributary of the River Thames and a Site of Special Scientific Interest from near its sources west of Marlborough down to Woolhampton. One of its sources is Swallowhead Spring, the other being a collection of tributaries north of Avebury near the villages of Uffcott and Broad Hinton.
