Criminal

Took a stroll at lunchtime and passed this building along the way.

It's a beautiful, imposing old building with it's roof ornaments, round window and grand set of steps. It's very striking sitting back from the cobbled street on it's own - and also in part due to the pink paint, which I think adds to it's charm.

However, somewhere along the way modern man intervened...

Now I can overlook the wheelie bins (modern necessity) and possibly even the nasty concrete wall in front (with a canvas like that I'm surprised no-one's graffiti'd it), but then someone (probably in the 1970's) stuck some of those bland, modern, nasty looking blocks on either side of it!
