Cathedral

Wakefield cathedral.

We were there to see Kate Rusby perform in aid of the 2013 appeal to remodel this old building to make it ready for it's 125th anniversary and thereby make it, not just a place of worship and sanctuary, but a place where people can meet and perform and be a community.

It was an unbridled success. 600+ people paid to see a magical show of English folk music and stunning lighting.

However, the pews were very uncomfortable, but that is what the fund is about to put right. Comfy seats! Bliss!!
