Serious Climbing at Giggleswick
It was a lot sunnier today in Giggleswick than in Livingston. So it was handy that I'd taken today off work to head down to Yorkshire with James, Seb, and Michaela.
As it turns out, the two in this photo are none of these crew, but Chris and Catherine. They are two friends who have, time after time, kindly openned their front door to me and friends visiting to sample the best that British limestone has to offer.
Catherine is climbing an F6b+, experiencing the discomfort of a second-clip run-out!
I've now used Lightroom for the first time (in their living room) to develop this shot- I tend to use Sony's own RAW editor. After a glass of two of wine, some good chat, and some cheese and port, it seemed about time to blip.
There are plenty of other images to back-blip over the past week, but I've not had chance to upload since mid-week last week. They'll be appearing over the next few days, once life (fun as it may be just now) slows down again, for a while at least...
