Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge

Took hundreds of terrible shots of birds today, and the best pic ended up being of sand. :) Had a great wander around the refuge, dinner at a Mexican restaurant with a waiter who, like me, loves poet Pablo Neruda, and watched a boat get tossed in the waves as the sun set. Have to pack up and head halfway home tomorrow. Beach bliss is nearly over, and Monday I return to an office job for the first time in almost a year and a half.

But for now, one more night drifting off to the sound of the waves....
