Death of a Legend

One of the saddest days for Golfers and Sporrtspeople all over the world.
Seve Ballestero`s fight against cancer finally came to an end today.
The success of the European Golf Tour over the last few years and the rise of so many great European players is all down to the example of the great Seve.
I emigrated to NZ in 1974 and had the pleasure in 1976 watching the great Seve at 18 years of age playing at the St Clair Golf Club and it was my greatest moments in sport to follow him for 18 hole in a tournament he easily won.
