Hidden Treasure

A wonderful day today. We went to the play cafe this morning and found quite a few friends there, so we had a lovely time playing and eating (Katie) and a yummy latte for mummy. I was on a mission to feed her right up as last week she'd been hungry half way through swimming. Today she troughed!

I left in time for her to sleep before hand, she had an hour in the car and i read the paper. She really enjoyed the lesson - and seeing Ava. They had a cuddle half way through, just because. The teacher gave the toddlers and mummies straws, to try teach them to blow bubbles. Yeah right! She must be growing as she now can stand flat footed at the shallowest part of the baby pool. She was walking up stairs carrying two buckets, when out of the water, she cant climb stairs without one hand on the rail. After the lesson, she was doing loads of swimming round and round. Lots of smiles from both girls.

After swimming, I went to check out a tip off from a friend. And it was worth it. I'd been told to go this weekend to a woodland area and check out the bluebells. On the way there, we walked through the field of cows, and Katie spent a while playing in the buttercups. We then went through to the woodlands. It was gorgeous. it had just rained, so they sparkled beautifully in the sunlight as it burst through the trees. Katie loved wandering through them, nearly as tall as her in places. I'll definitely go back with her, its a wonderful exploring area too, bikes when she's bigger. I had a great time exploring with Katie, but also loved taking 'proper' photographs, for me, for more time playing with the 50mm. I may even blip on "my" blip today!

We've popped home for a drink and snack, make a start on prepping tea, and then we're heading off to play with the Cousins. So all in all its been a wonderfuly busy but lovely day.
