Today was Mom's, Sister & Son/Brother day out.
We went to Chandani Chowk for some household shopping. While dropping my mom & sis I told them to enter the mkt and go ahead with shopping. I will park my car at some parking area, will visit JM to get some pics and catch them in the CC.

Started looking for parking but could not find it. took a wrong U-turn to find the parking again and was caught by Traffic Cops. huhhhhh !!

A junior cop came to me and asked for my License, RC and Insurance papers. After showing up the docs to him, the guy asked that it will be Rs 1100 chalaan (ticket).
What the Fish ! Rs 1100 for a wrong U-Turn.
The guy handed over the my license & RC to a senior and he started preparing the chalaan.

In the meanwhile I was making junior cop understand that I did not noticed the sign board as it has been faded away. Smart chap told me that you should have noticed signal light where there was a bright light of no U-turn.
Truth was that I was looking for parking continuously and neither noticed the sign board nor the signal :-)

I called my sister and told her that i have been challaned and dealing with the cops and will be a little late to reach mkt.
When my mom heard that she panicked. She immediately told me to call my maternal uncle (a cop) and make the senior guy talk with him and he will settle down the matter.
I said no I will deal with them, no need to disturb uncle and disconnected the phone.
My mom then called my uncle and told him to call on my cell phone to settle down the matter.
In the meantime my challan was prepared and I was able to convince senior cop that it was not intentional turn but a mistake.
He prepared Rs 100 challan which I paid to him. My uncle gave me a call and asked about the matter. I told him not to worry as the matter has been settled down and I have only paid Rs 100.
I asked for a parking area from the cop and he told me the directions.

Parked my car at Red Fort parking and headed for JM.

Some how from my after school days I am fascinated by this place very much. Infact, I am fascinated by all the Indian temples, monuments and other ancient architectures. Appreciate the way they have been built.

Watched people's activity inside JM and clicked some different shots.
My sister called up and told me to come in the mkt. Headed straight to CC.


I purposefully went to JM to shoot pics in the bright sunlight as I wanted to try my hand at "Silhouettes".
