ducks!

Miss Pink and I went to feed the ducks this morning. We saw ducks, swans, and rather a lot of pigeons. Miss Pink loves feeding the ducks and was very excited when I told her where we were going. She is just beginning to realise what fun it can be to actually throw the bread in for the ducks, rather than hold hold on to it for half an hour before eating herself! There were some ducklings which were very pretty and fluffy, and some very greedy and uppity swans.

After the ducks we went to the farm shop to see the piggies, and Miss pink was delighted as the piggies got up from their nap in the sunshine to come and see her. One even gave her a kiss!!

She fell asleep on the way back, which worked out perfectly as she could have a proper nap before picking Master Pink up from school and going to swimming. Master Pink was given a certificate for his swimming progress and a sew on badge. He is very pleased!

I went to my prayer group this evening, and we had a go at a craft called decopatch. I'm rather liking this craft - it's basically choosing pretty papers and glueing them with special glue to an object. We had a wooden cross each to decorate, and I'm actually really pleased with mine.
