Covered in Children

I had been booked to entertain at a Confirmation party this afternoon. The newly confirmed boy loved dogs and his present from his parents today was a Border Collie puppy, so they wanted some dog related entertainment for their party, which would also be fun for those not really into dogs. -So what could be better than a couple of dancing dogs?!

Biscuit the sheltie came first and performed his routine to "Don't Tell Mama" from Cabaret. Then Hero - my 9 mth old Border Collie puppy - performed a simple routine to "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers. Hero has never performed a full routine in front of an audience before, but it went well and he wow'ed the crowds :-).

It was super training for my young boy to perform in front of such a friendly and understanding audience, who knew he is just a baby.
