Another Year Has Gone By

And just like that, with a thunder and lightning storm with a rain shower to put those of the Berkshires of Massachusetts to shame...the blossom has gone.

I know everyone is busy, and has way more to do than anyone could ever deal with without becoming slightly insane or slightly alcoholic, or both. But I really hope that everyone who came to this city, or was around sights like the meadows, was able to stop just for a while and just appreciate the beauty of spring.

But that's the wonderful thing about seasons...like history, they have a nasty habit of repeating themselves. So never fear, the blossom will be back. And knowing how fast things have been going recently, I'm sure it will feel like they've been gone no time at all.
