wedding memory

......but not mine. Younger lad and I were on our way home when this photo caught my eye. Everyone is used to seeing baby's bootees and hats and soft toys placed on hedges and fences to be found by the owner's mum or dad or gran.... the next time they pass. But here was a framed wedding photograph, carefully placed on a low stone wall so that the mesh fence would hold it in place.

The question is, will an owner ever come by to retrieve it?

There is something very sad about this 'lost' memory, and it reminds me of the even sadder image of the elderly Japanese man rescuing photographs from the devastation after the tsunami.
